The B.A.S.S. Nation in Idaho
B.A.S.S. has been a part of Idaho almost as long as tournament fishing has been around. Over the years our organization has put thousands of hours and dollars into the improvement of our water ways. Boat ramps, docks, structure for habitat, road improvements, and many other ways we strive to better this fine state and its fisheries. Idaho Fish & Game, The Dept. of Agriculture, The Bureau of Reclamation, and others have worked hand in hand to show us where projects are needed and assist with the planning and implimentation.
Our Conservation efforts will continue. For information on upcoming events as well as your opportunities to assist, please contact our State Conservation Officer at:

Since the 80s B.A.S.S. has provided a variety of youth programs. We have been involved with the Hooked on Fishing not Drugs program, Casting Kids Program, Catch A Special Thrill program, Scales of Justice Program, Conservation Day program, and Junior Tournament Fishing just to mention a few.
Taking an interest in the future of our kids can't be taken for granted. I have not been able to find to many things in life that almost every young person can do. Fishing, whether it is a casual day on the bank or a competition, provides an opportunity for excitement and, if only for a few hours, a break from the strains of a very challenging life we all face.
Our programs are all put on with donated funds, prizes, food, drinks, and trophies. Volunteers bring there "A" game and gladly help show our next generation the joy of fishing as well as the responsibilities of managing the resources available to us.
To call it Great is an understament to say the least. One smile will stick in your heart for years.
